Calvin and hobbes will always be an integral part of my childhood, from the witty humor to boyish jokes i will always, happily, be entranced.

And then this one was just a little much. Individual pages were great but multiple pages were overdone. There were lots of good one pagers though. Or perhaps I read this book too soon after the previous volume. I am getting to the end of this read. And kind of thinking that Calvin and Hobbes are really not for me. Unless I'm trying to come up with password phrases.

Very good.

If I don't have anything interesting to say in a review, why leave one at all?

The penultimate collection! And with the finish line in sight...

I loved:
- Calvin's never-ending war waged on his bicycle. Or rather, the war his bicycle wages on him...
- Calvin's crossword puzzle skills.
- Hobbes' dripping sarcasm. A thing to be relied upon.
- Calvin's sudden obsession with contractual obligation.
- Calvin's thinking cap. Otherwise known as the "cerebral enhance-o-tron".
- Some particularly choice letters to Santa.
- When Calvin forgets to do his math homework.
- Spaceman Spiff and all that sweet alien weirdness.
