Saga 1: 4/5 ⭐️
Saga 2: 5/5 ⭐️
Saga 3: 5/5 ⭐️
When I started reading Saga my expectations were quite high, I’ve heard such great things about this story so I really hoped that I would get blown away by the story and art. And I did.
We get to follow Alana and Marko, two different people they belong to two different species. These species has been at war for ages and hate each other but still, these two find each other and fall in love...which brings little Hazel to the world.
The story is narrated by Hazel which gives even more suspense to the story, as she knows what will happen and is quite mysterious when it comes to some things.
The story it self is mesmerizing and incredibly well written with diverse characters and mindblowing worlds and species. The art is absolutely stunning and I found myself studying some pages a little extra as the art was so incredible.
I love how the story starts of as the “typical” Romeo and Juliet story but becomes something so much more. This story is about compassion, love, war, diversity & hope.
Vaughan has written a story that takes you by storm and together with Staples art it’s impossible to put the book down.
And the ending of book 3, gosh, how am I supposed to wait for the next volume?
But I gotta tell you, that this story isn’t for the ones who don’t like gory stuff or dislikes NSFW content, because there’s lots of that.
