due to the whole “probably lied about her race which this book is based upon” thing i’m not going to rate or talk about it ever again.

Another one I need to come back to when I can focus better, to take in more than the stories and the lyricism of the words. To look more at the structure, images, and structure across the collection.

Painful and beautiful. Mesmerizing and graphic. Read only if you are prepared to see the unadulterated truth through someone else's eyes. A tough read but essential to understanding the path of becoming who you knew you always were.
