A huge amount of this collection went way over my head, overly descriptive and I had no idea what was going on most of the time. There is no humour, instead what you get is a dark reminiscing sadness. It's not all bad news, what I did understand I really enjoyed, some clever usage of a mannequin and my favourite.....

Predestination

god sits in a quiet corner
of heaven
smoking a lonely cigarette
he turns to the son
and the spirit and says,
how the hell
did it all go so wrong?

That there is a 5* poem, the rest of the book I give 3*. (Maybe when I'm older and wiser I'll re-read this and will get it the second time around.)
