Not as great as the first book, but still a really enjoyable read. 

The new characters are interesting, and add new perspecives to the story. One of the strengths of the first book was helping us relate to Bane, however this was obviously going to change the deeper into his journey we got. It was always going to be nessicary for the story for him to become more and more evil.

As with the first book, seeing things from the villains perspective is a fantastic change from the norm in star ears. We already know what happens in a few hundred years but this series continues to show us why and how. 

I loved the inclusion of

Serreno

the seeds that are planted there tie right into the prequels, and we're beginning to see how the Grand sith plan came together.
