How do you rate a book and a series that has made you feel the full gamut of emotions? Especially, when it juxtaposed hurt with joy? I have been a huge fan of this author since she was first recommended. Whether it is a standalone or part of a series, her words change the template of who I am. I feel a maelstrom of emotions and gives credence to her ability to draw her audience in and make them fall into the world and characters that she creates.

I was unsure about starting this book because I was unsure of whether or not I could relate to the love story and the characters. I can say now, that I could and did. This is a message of love and matters of the heart that will always find a way to triumph and soar. It is not an easy ride. It hurts but it is also redemptive. It was bittersweet knowing that this was the end of this remarkable series.

So, in answer to my question of how do I rate a book or series like this and do it justice? Sometimes, the best way is just by saying that this book and series changed me. I think that is a compliment in itself.

This one was an emotional read. I truly never know what to expect with Anne’a books and I love it, but this one was hard to read. I think it fit the character and the struggle we’ve seen and what happens when one hits rock bottom. I loved seeing him come back from rock bottom and get his HEA. Like always, a heartbreakingly beautiful story.

Censored Soul is the fifth and final book in this series. Firstly, I just want to say that I'm fairly new to m/m stories. I did read stories with m/m scenes but with FMC as their center and truly enjoyed it. But never have I read a full on m/m full length novel. However, Ms Malcom, in her true fashion, handled this story with delicate execution and beautiful writing.

This story is raw, angst filled, and all the feels that went straight down to my soul. I felt that my heart will burst out of my chest with all of the emotions I went through Noah's story. Overall, a perfect ending to this series!

"You've just been addicted to losing yourself in strangers so you don't have to become familiar with yourself."

This book is by far the most beautiful book I have ever read. I was so happy Noah finally got his story. This book touched my heart and soul in a way that no other book has. I read this book in one day, I could not put it down.
Its a slow burn type of book that tears you apart, then heals you at the end. This is not your typical M/M book, this is a true love story. Its about a couple who goes through pure hell and waits to be together.
Everyone should read this story. I'm sad the series is ending, but what a beautiful way to end it.

Noah, sweet, complicated Noah. Such an amazing story. Heartbreaking, funny at times, sweet at others. The chemistry of the Noah and Gideon is awesome. They bring out the best in one another, give something that the other is missing, Gideon is the light to his darkness. I especially loved the epilogue where she gives a glimpse of the future with all the characters and their families.
This is the first series I read by Anne and I was hooked. I binge read anything of hers I could get my hands on. I am so sad to see this series end. All the characters have a soft spot in my heart, and always will.

When there’s a series you love so very much, and the final book comes, it’s scary to start. Will it end like you hope? Like it needs? Censored Soul is perfection on paper. The cover, the words...right through the final epilogue. Anne Malcom did write a sweet finale that neatly wrapped up everything in a bow. She wrote the truth. Noah’s truth.

This is NOT a standalone. PLEASE don’t pick it up until you’ve read Unquiet Minds from the beginning (or better yet, after book 3 of Sons of Templar). Censored Soul is purely Noah. But you won’t - you can’t - appreciate the lie he’s been living if you don’t meet him from the beginning. Ever the solid foundation for others, his own foundation is quicksand. Until it finally sucks him under for good. It takes near tragedy for him to find his truth. And a lot of work, hardship and pain to learn to live it.

To my shame, this is my first book by the author and I can’t believe how I haven’t read her before.
This book pulled me in from the first chapter and I read it in one sitting because I just couldn’t put it down. It’s angsty and heartbreaking but also brings hope and shows what love does and how it can heal a broken life.
Can’t recommend it enough.
