A delightful read suitable for younger readers, with only a brief touch of violine. Tuck Everlasting follows Winnie on a short-lived adventure among the Tuck family, where she learns the value of a little chaos, and the reality of life and death and it's ever-turning cycle. Beautiful prose and descriptions with a short and gripping story. It's only shortcomings are that while the language and metaphor are both beautiful, they don't quite go as deep as I would look, and sometimes fall short of their potential.
Moderate: Violence
Minor: Adult/minor relationship
While often tagged at adult/minor relationship, this novel only briefly glances it through suggestion, there is no explicit or actual adult/minor relationship, just an innocent young girl's crush.thewillowwood's review against another edition

Pulled this off my childhood bookshelf on a whim, read it in one sitting on the plane. Lovely writing and a good story. Definitely for a younger audience then me. I appreciate the darker tone and meaningful reflections that it provides at a level for younger audience, something that can be lacking in middle grade (I loved this kind of stuff at that age).

I like how the book leaves what being immortal is like up to the reader's interpretation, because for the Tuck family each of them has a different perspective on it, and I expect whether it is a blessing or a curse depends on the person who receives it. I wish we got to see more of Winnie's life, but I liked her character.
Moderate: Violence
Minor: Death
