I picked up Cherry at a friend's of the library book sale because every random page I opened had something shocking or obscene. This book has a brick on the gas pedal, a knee on the steering wheel, and uses both hands to shoot up heroin while driving. This is a hard, dark, fast bookâall drugs and violence and truama. White knuckle the cover and huff some duster. You'll make it through.
