Lovely novel in verse about two trans boys navigating some difficult times at the end of high school by adopting the names of two trans Revolutionary War soldiers and writing letters as them. The ending was especially wonderful!

A beautiful, kind, and vulnerable novel in verse following two trans boys as they must face the distance between each other and between the historical reflections they've been given to prove their existences as trans men. History proves personhood, and this book proves this. A Million Quiet Revolutions is a quiet tender book, and important in this way- we truly get to experience our main characters' craving to see themselves reflected in the world around them, even when it leads them to places they aren't sure they should be, even when they feel alone. I also loved that this book featured supportive adults; just as teens need to see that people of their identity existed in the past, do they need to know that there are people in their lives happy to love them.

This was one of the most beautifully written books I’ve ever read. The writing style was on another level. Definitely would love to read more from this author. It was such a beautiful and powerful story.

There were points where I was crying, then laughing the next. It was such a sweet story. Oliver and Aaron were both incredibly complex characters. They felt so real and their story is so relatable for so many people. We need more stories like this.

I listened to the audiobook and I found it so engaging and beautiful. I loved the narrator. Definitely recommend this one to everyone. It’s a must read!!
