Animals are so nasty. I’m torn between whether the bit about frogs and co. was the nastiest or whether it was the bit about marsupials. Probably frogs and co.

Giving this four stars because I found some bits much more interesting than others - I loved the section on wasps/bees/ants/termites, sauropods, and whales in particular, alongside the section on humanity (which probably appealed to the archaeologist and ancient historian in me).
