A great Christmas present. Something to keep and flick through while I eagerly await Winds of Winter.

3.75* "Sleep is good. Books are better"

I understand why some people don't like this book; it does seem a bit pointless republishing things that one character has already said...BUT, saying that, Tyrion is my favourite character in A Song of Ice and Fire (&Game of Thrones) so I really enjoyed this. He's such a witty character and I just love his dry humour! Plus, Jonty Clark's illustrations are hilarious. Yes.

I'm kind of annoyed that I paid money for this book. Don't get me wrong, I love George RR Martin and his 'Game of Thrones' series. But this book is seriously just a money grab ... it consists of all the great, funny and clever things Tyrion Lannister said. No stories, no new writing, some pictures and that is it. This is possibly my favourite: 'My mind is my weapon. My brother has his sword, King Robert has his warhammer, and I have my mind … and a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone if it is to keep its edge.'

I love Tyrion. I wish there was more, but then the quotes would be too long! <3

I love Tyrion's quotes from all the books. Best dialogues/quotes in the books belong to Tyrion. So how could I not read this book?!
This book is great with many awesome quotes from Tyrion.

My favourite quotes from this book:
"They say I’m half a man. What does that make the lot of you?"

"My mind is my weapon. My brother has his sword, King Robert has his warhammer, and I have my mind … and a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone if it is to keep its edge."

"Why is it that when one man builds a wall, the next man immediately needs to know what’s on the other side?"

"There has never been a slave who did not choose to be a slave. Their choice may be between bondage and death, but the choice is always there."

"Kings are falling like leaves this autumn."

"The best lies are seasoned with a bit of truth."

and many more.... Grab this book if you love this series!
