I’m not sure if it’s the time that I read this that made it less enjoyable because I was in a bit of a reading slump. This meant I read the book more slowly and in bits so it was harder to get into. However, I’ve had no trouble getting into the book I started after finishing this one. It’s a nice book but I just found it difficult to get into and didn’t really connect with the characters. It’s definitely my least favourite that I’ve read so far by the author. I enjoyed loveless and radio silence much more. This book was just a bit underwhelming for me but it may we’ll be a me problem and not a book problem. It’s not a bad book in any means.

"And I still hate myself.
Just FYI.
Still think I'm the worst.
But, you know.
That's not uncommon."

Iconic. Mood.
I thought I was going to put down the book and finish it later, but I didn't. I spent my Sunday Afternoon devouring page after page. I laughed, and I felt a lot of emotions. I am not really a crier so I didn't cry, but I felt like was going to at certain parts. I finished "I Was Born for This" exactly at 11:00 p.m. est and I was not disappointed. Like "Radio Silence" this book made me actually confront my inner feelings and made me fall in love with every character. I now want a book that details the friendship of Bliss, Angel, and Juliet, because there will never be a more iconic trio, then the three of them.
