I didn’t really resonate with this book much — especially because it is deeply connected to the author’s life and while it should be celebrated, I just didn’t really relate or connect with it which is fine!
Some of the lines were sort of repetitive and cliche, kind of like advice or mottos I hear people say often which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
Some of the poems did connect with me on a deeper level and I enjoyed those a lot, but I just didn’t connect with a vast majority of the book and felt like there were so many themes I got a little lost.
