A fun story that will get you hooked immediately. In this volume, we get to see L interacting for the first time in person with the police and follow Naomi Misora as she investigates the suspicious death of her fiancé, Raye Penber. Light shows us just how good of an (emotionless) actor he can be!

AHAHAHA Ryukuu's love for apples is so adorable ;D

Ugh, Misora Naomi acted like a subservient housewife and let Raye treat her like shit, then when he died she became a really strong, independent woman =S It was weird and I thought it was a fucked up portrayal of one of the few women in the manga so far.

Regardless, I'm enjoying the story so far, and I find it uber intriguing how meticulous Raito is in securing his room and the Death Note. I wouldn't think of doing any of that stuff, nor would I remember to check it. =/

Took me a while to finally get around these. I know they are pretty fast to read, but I picked it up before bed (and I was TIRED), and couldn't put it down until I finished it. It was, for me, better than the first volume. Though the first one was already incredibly good, this one made me want to finish the whole thing in one sitting. It might be the plot twists. Love the plot twists.
