I'd been meaning to reread A Christmas Carol for years now, wondering if my opinion on it had changed since I read it as a teen. Aside from being better able to understand a lot of the period terminology, I loved it just as much as I had the first time. Dickens' random personal interjections made me smile.

A charming dramatisation of the well-loved story. Quite spooky at times.

This book was actually very cute, I already knew the story but it was nice to actually read it, and Levar Burton was great to listen to. I’m not the biggest fan of older/classic books and the way they were written, but it being an audiobook really made it easier.
