If you don't like a cute love story storyline, then this book isn't for you. The book was just predictable, but it's expected when you are reading a fluffy romance novel . If you're like me, you just need a light read. I read this book in one setting; and I loved how cute it was.

DISCLAIMER: I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest opinion.

Very cute, typical storyline, but I enjoyed it.

Even though most of the celebrity falling in love with an ordinary girl have been a fail for me I held out hope for this one since I really enjoyed Lauren Morrill's Meant to Be but I could not get myself to love this book. Honestly, I've only come across one book where the celebrity/ordinary girl premise blew me away and that was Cinder and Ella by Kelly Oram.

The problem I had with My Unscripted Life was I could not for the life of me care for the characters. They were not complex or fleshed out. It's been a while since I've read the book and I barely even remember them, so not memorable at all.

What I did like was the movie set. It was fun reading about everything that goes on behind the camera and what goes into making a movie.

Even though I love the fluff books this one just wasn't for me.

I so enjoyed this book. I loved both the setting and the hollywood elements in a small time life and i loved the romance aspects as well. I thought towards the start of the book it was a tad predicable but towards the end it suprised me. I really loved both main characters and the movie set world that we saw.

Meh at best. This was not for me. I am not a big contemporary romance reader at the best of times so that is part of it. I found Dee boring and immature. Milo started as a typical cookie cutter hollywood jerk. He does grow a bit on me. But sadly I could not get into this couple nor anyone else in the book. They story did nothing for me either. I like the small town feel, what little I got from this. The story is all too predictable and was not moving at all for me.

Dragged a bit in the middle but the end was good.

4/5. Cute and fluffy, although a little bit clichéd. A quick and sweet read, which I liked!

I’ve read all of Lauren Morrill’s books that she has released so far, and I have to say that they really do hit the spot for me. My Unscripted Life, her latest book certainly did the trick as well. Read my full review here Review goes live 10/6/2016

I'm struggling to feel anything for this novel. It was fine, but not very riveting for me.
