When I started this book I wasn't expecting what I got. Wow, plot twists and turns and a whole lot of action. The Boss's Daughter has it all. This is book one in the Black Rose series, you better hold on because I am sure it is going to be a bumpy good ride.

I know it’s only February but this has to be one of the best books that I have read this year!I have no doubt it will end up in my top 10 of 2018! It was gripping, it was exciting, it was dark and I loved it! I love Mob stories so I was really excited when I found this one and it did not disappoint AT ALL!! From the very first page I knew it was going to be good! There was more than one occasion when I was on the edge of my seat and I loved that the author managed to keep certain parts of the plot secret until they were revealed. It was a unique storyline and in no way predictable.
I loved Renee (Chloe) she was a brilliant female lead. I admired her for her strength especially having to deal with the things that she had to – she had compassion when she needed it but she also knew how to protect herself and the people that she loved.
Hunter was amazing! I loved him straight away. When he revealed his story I could have cried for him. I loved how the author intertwined all of the characters – it brought them all together nicely in my opinion.
David was another character I really liked, he did have that loving Grandfather feel about him but you also knew not to cross him!! He would do anything (like Renee/Chloe) to protect the people he loves.
Overall a really great mafia romance with some great twists and turns in it! I loved every second of it and cannot recommend it enough!! I am really looking forward to more in this series!
