I highly recommend this if you're a fan of the film trilogy. There are extra scenes in here that are left out of the movie entirely. More background is given on nearly everyone. For me, some of the best portions of the novel are those from Laurie's and Michael's perspectives.
Graphic: Child death, Death, Grief, Murder, and Violence
Moderate: Gore and Suicidal thoughts

This was enjoyable. I don’t really love the Halloween franchise, but I enjoy it enough. I don’t think I’ve seen this movie but I have seen the second one so it was good to see the first. Honestly I have nothing much to say about this except there isn’t really any action until like 75% which is a bummer.Â
Graphic: Death, Mental illness, Gun violence, Violence, Blood, Fire/Fire injury, Child death, Death of parent, Body horror, Gore, Injury/Injury detail, Murder, Stalking, Torture, and Grief
