I loved this book series as a young teenager in middle school
You may recognize this review, because it is the same i will write on all the books in this series, because i can't really remember all the written content, but i still wanted to review them honestly. Let me tell you: I inhaled this book-series and loved everything about it - in middle school.
But to be honest, now looking back at what these books could have been and what they really were, i wouldn't rate it 5/5 stars, like i would have a few years ago. Some things in the books were just over the top. For example: the mayor differences between good and evil and the stereotypes they had.

This one was a bit too convoluted.
There were too many characters, which made it more confusing than it had to be. It made it easy to lose interest and I was bored for maybe 40% of the book.
And this time, the ending didn’t really make up for it. There was an event near the end that was gasp-out-loud good, but everything else was just okay. This was my least favourite in the series so far.
