A follow-up to the Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady, these are beautiful renderings in watercolor and pencil. It's an inspiration and I truly want to start one of my own.

This is a beautifully illustrated and written book--it inspires me to make even the functional in my life beautiful. Because something is mundane does not mean it needs to be joyless.

I would give this book 5+ stars for the beautiful watercolors of plants, birds, and butterflies but I didn't care for the poetry.
