I'm a little biased.

I read this book for the first time a long time ago, and for the longest time, I would tell people this was my favorite book whenever I was asked. And I decided to reread it to see if it held up to my expectations.

It's definitely a fun book to read, and if I was being completely objective, I'd give it 4 stars, but the nostalgia of it all bumped it up to a 5-star book.

I love the intrigue, and I love the twists and turns. The ending surprised me again this time around, and I love that.

Of course there are some problems. Various terms that have become super dated in the 15 years since this book was published. I have a few questions on why most of this happened and how they were able to pull everything off, but like...oh well I guess?

I don't know, it just made me really happy that I could enjoy this book as much this time even though I'm much older and have read better books.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but that doesn't mean I don't love it!
