- As She Fades had me hooked in from the beginning
- I didn’t like the constant slut shaming, the obsession with physical appearance, and talking about sex/male main character’s sex life. It got repetitive and annoying.
- The sex scenes were more detailed and spicier than I was expecting.
- The plot twist was unexpected and it just fell flat for me. I enjoyed the first part of the book more. However, the book got better right at the end, which was disappointing because the story was over.
- The synopsis is misleading because it mentions something that’s supposed to happen but it doesn’t? I was confused by that.
- I liked that Slate had a lot more heart than people thought. Crawford was a jerk and I didn’t like him at all.
- Vale’s family was cute and endearing. I enjoyed how close they were and how they supported Slate. I liked the character growth in of Vale.
- This book was okay but not memorable. It kept my attention at work though which was appreciated. It helped that the book is short and easy to get through.
