I feel like this book was written for me. Dark, gothic, atmospheric, romantic, and just beautifully written. I did find the FMC very slightly annoying with her indecisiveness but it didn’t subtract enough from how much i enjoyed the book

it's been a long time since i enjoyed a fantasy book this much. this story had everything i needed and more: compelling characters, atmospheric setting, and a nice mystery that kept everything nicely flowing. i can't wait to read the second book!
