An absurdist play at its finest, Waiting for Godot is a minimalist work that forces you to find its interpretation in your own personal dilemmas but at the same time gives you a perfect framework that lacks no balance between tragedy and absurdity (Comedy i guess, if you're having a good day).

I'd rather not offer my interpretation of it, simply to drive you away from all prejudices.

Being translated by the author himself (a rare and yet perfect condition) the play lacks no strength in expressing the absurd situation and the cry of despair.

"We wait. We are bored. --- No, don't protest, we are bored to death, there's no denying it. Good. A diversion comes along and what do we do? We let it go to waste. --- In an instant all will vanish and we'll be alone once more, in the midst of nothingness!"

this is certainly a play

there are no words that can adequately describe the experience of reading and/or watching it. you absolutely have to experience it for yourself. and I'm a little bit obsessed

I have no idea what just happened. I suspect it was symbolism but I have no idea.
