Not what I expected at all, but I loved it regardless. I enjoyed the plot and the way the story was constructed. It was a different take on vampires, shifters, witches, and immortals. If you have triggers for r***, be warned that it's definitely in here. It's not super vivid but there are mentions and aftermath of it. The whole memories thing was a twist on the whole thing. I knew Vivi was something different. Not a nightingale, but maybe a blue blood queen or something. Curious as to where the story is going to go in regards to Vivi's mother, the sickness, and Luc's necklace. There is something about the whole thing that's not making sense.
