Absolute filler. The important parts of this book could be summed up in three sentences or less, and there was virtually no character growth to justify 300+ pages of stagnancy.

"He was aggravating, and beautiful, and I didn't wish to be bothered by any of it."
- Elise
I'm in love with this underrated series. Legion reminds me so much of Aragorn as he fulfills the reluctant hero trope. Despite my chosen quotes there were moments when he and Elise definitely reminded me of Aragorn and Arwen. (Basically, they're one of my favourite star-crossed lovers <3). If you love the whole protective/can't let you die part of romances, this is for you.
"If this is hating, I rather like it."

Excited for More!
Elise and Legion leave you dying for more and routing for them to succeed for the unity of the realm.
This is the first series in ages that's given me similar feelings as when I read the Acotar books for the first time. I cannot wait to continue it.
