The ending was terrible. I had high hopes for this but this feels like such a waste of time.

While this installment of FolkLords did see a return of several characters from earlier in the series, to great effect, the heavy-handed nature of the fourth wall breach lessened my enjoyment of the entire endeavor. There was an early acknowledgement of the fourth wall in the very premise of Folklords, so to have a Folklord referring to creation of characters, writers room, killing as editing, and their reliance on his genius all felt uninspired and disappointing.
