Did not like. I found the plot annoying and unrealistic and the couple’s chemistry not believable. The dog was okay.

DNF. The pace was too slow with too much internal dialogue that detracted from the plot.

This was super cute! And a great palette cleanser after the last couple of stinkers I read. I loved Georgie’s general sense of chaos and her story of embracing that. I loved all of the nicknames (the ones to Georgie from her dad and the ones Georgie gave Cal

“He would look better with a beard, not that it’s any of my business”

And that’s on we love a bearded damaged hero who is a simp for their girl

scene setting & characters’ internal monologues are bloated with adjectives and tangent thoughts. it delays momentum of the actual plot and would wrap up the story much sooner.

I appreciate the effort of pivoting the POV between the two lead characters, but Levi is frankly boring. leaving the story in georgie’s voice, as the title would imply, would’ve made more sense imho.
