The recipes were good although did not feel especially inspired. What I liked most about this book was the camping tips and the cooking tips related to camping cooking.

This is a gorgeous cookbook, with photographs of every dish plus nature/camping landscapes around America. The book starts out with some camping tips and Coleman history, but quickly gets to the main attraction. The recipes are a lot simpler than another camping cookbook I read, and I think would be easier to accomplish over the fire/camp stove. The most complex section is definitely the desserts, but you're probably just going to eat s'mores anyway :)
