Great world building and character introduction

Book 1 of the trilogy set up the characters and the world so well.

We got to meet Eve, Tyler, Ethan, Josh, and Alec, as well as side characters, Beth, Sara, Dot, and Charlie.

The connections between Eve and her guys were sometimes sweet, sometimes confusing, and sometimes angsty.

I really enjoyed reading Eve's POV but would really like the guys' POV as well.

This is definitely a slowburn, with only slight intimacy.

I can't wait to read book 2 and see how things develop between Eve and her guys.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible with great audio, including duet style narration for the male dialogue.

The plot was touch and go there for a bit. And Eve girl, stop trying to pin that man in a corner to say thank you. Good lord. She spends half the book trying to say thank you

OMG I so didn't want to get sucked into a new series but here I am. Sucked in. Obsessed!

Eve and her Mum are always on the run but Eve has no idea why. An accident means that Eve is now alone but has a place at Bradford Hills Institute, a school for Variants (they have powers!), and that's where she meets Ethan, Alec, Tyler and Josh.

And then it all goes off!!!!

I really liked Eve, she's so strong and resilient! Ethan and Josh are my utter faves with Tyler coming in a close 3rd! Alec doesn't even get a place because he's a nasty piece of work - I even feel sorry for Eve for having to deal with him!
