Before reading the last part of the Legion series I decided to re-read the previous novellas. I think it was a good decision because it really tied up the story. I am sorry to say goodbye to Stephen and his aspects. Especially J.C. But everyone deserves their HEA, and for them I think this was it.

Recommended if you like mentally unstable characters, humor and a good mystery.

I liked the lighthearted mysteries but there was a lot of cringe. The way mental illness is portrayed along with the racist stereotypes of some of Stephen's "aspects" (not to mention JC who is meant to be a lovable gun-loving racist "aspect") made me wonder if I read the same book as everyone else who gave these novellas glowing reviews.

So good. It was fun to reread the first two (which I'd previously read) right in sequence with the final segment. The idea behind this is so interesting and well represented in his writing.

Според мен книгата беше пълна с интересни идеи, но липса на интересен сюжет, в който да се развият.

Very unlike Brandon's other works. Notably in first person. I think Stephen's aspects to be more interesting than Stephen himself. The relationship between Stephen and Sandra was dangled in front of the reader until the end, but the ending/reveal with Sandra was not as satisfying as I'd hoped. I instead liked the conclusion with Stephen's aspects more, and I found it to be quite touching.

I was very excited to see this published in one book and bought the hardcover for Christmas, even though I own the first two on Kindle. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed reading the entire collection as one. I probably wouldn't have liked it as much as 3 short stories but the ending definitely made me cry since I read all 3 at once.
