Who doesn’t love a love story with pirates (or I mean privateers)?

It was almost ALMOST a 4 but Poppy kinda got on my nerves just enough that I couldn’t get to a 4

Another enjoyable Bridgerton book!

These characters feel like friends to me by now. Quinn excels at creating characters who are likable, vexing, and real enough within the strictures of the romance novel structure. They tend toward a similar dynamic, but I don’t mind. Such fun, lighthearted reads.

I really thought I wasn't going to like this one. Bridgerton meets pirates? How could that possibly work? Thankfully, it does work, really, really well.

A very cute book about a "pirate" falling for the Bridgerton he kidnapped.
