This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and I am now a fan! I really enjoyed this book. I loved the main characters, I loved the relationship among the brothers, and I loved their sister and mother. Whatvreally set this book apart for me was the vividness of the supporting cast (so to speak). The characters were well-developed and memorable, and I wanted to learn more about almost all of them (okay, not Amelia-Rose’s mother, who is awful). I’m excited to read Coll’s and Aden’s books, and dare I hope Jane gets her happy ending?

Thanks to Netgalley for the eARC. All opinions are my own.

Listened as audio book. Great narrator, but I really didn't like the voice she did for the FMC. A little too high and whiney. I lost interest at the end and I found it hard to follow which characters were which aside from the mains. Probably my fault as I was predominantly listening while driving. I think I would have liked it better as a physical read, though. Now I have that Scottish accent in my head permanently.

Essentially an Outlander/Regency fan fiction mashup but charming.

Mighta been 5 stars if I read instead of listened. I just got distracted a few times.

Great story! I adored Niall, but I am not a fan of his mother. She totally didn't redeem herself in my eyes. Besides his mother, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I don't want to say too much about her and give things away, so you'll just have to read it yourself to find out why. lol
