The colours of the ghosts are so pretty. I loved the idea of gardening needing balance because it grows life - I would never have expected something like that. But overall the comics seem to be concatenated and doesn't flow, and the characters aren't developed so I felt shallow towards them. But the ideas are inspired and the artwork is nice!

I really liked the art style and all the colors used! It had a lot of potential with the storyline but I wasn’t a big fan. Everything felt rushed and disjointed, rather than a singular story it was more like different comics pieced together.
There’s also no plot. I thought we’d get more about the forest or the reaper but it’s resolved so quickly?! I did enjoy the romance, it was cute, but again underdeveloped. Honestly the only good thing was the artwork and it’s clear the author is more illustrator than writer and doesn’t know how to structure a story and pace it. So much potential for a great, unique story but poorly executed 😭

I liked the characters and the idea of the world in Taproot. But the comic itself was disjointed. There was no overarching plotline. I thought it’d be the forest but then that cleared up halfway through. Each portion felt like a weekly unconnected comic. And the time skips were at strange moments. That all said, this was very cute. I loved the art style (also reminded me of Lance/Hunk)

The art is beautiful and the character interactions were cute. However, the plot was lacking and hard to follow at times.

I loved this so much!
When I saw the cover, I fell in love with the art style. Flipping pages and discovering more of the amazing artworks was a delight.
The story was so sweet and wholesome. The premise alone is such a great idea and the way the author delivered it was heartwarming.
I really loved all the characters, they had their own distinct characteristics and design. They were all lovely, but especially Hamal. He is such a sweetheart and I want to give him a big hug.
I have to look up the author to see if they have more books!
