[originally read in high school] this was another book that felt like looking in a mirror. i related so much to the main character's plight: mental health struggles, going to a difficult high school, no friends, finding solace in the struggles of others, and desperately searching for the will to live. an inspiring, but tragic, story that i recommend to everyone who has ever felt like they've finally hit rock bottom and need some light.Â
Graphic: Mental illness, Forced institutionalization, Suicidal thoughts, and Suicide attempt
Moderate: Death, Eating disorder, Addiction, Body shaming, Drug use, Ableism, Dysphoria, and Grief
