Finally we get some answers into why the Pride exist. A fun entry in the series.

I accidentally got the mole spoiled but  it all started to come together anyway. I’m so happy there’s more issues (and I will be consuming them all) but if you wanted a casual read I think this volume is a good place to stop as well

A bit of a disappointment. I took a long break between vols 2&3, but I was excited to jump in again. I thought that the art quality diminished in this volume. the dialogue was still good, but I thought the plot went in a silly direction with the giants and the human sacrifice. If snuffing out a human life conveyed any mystic power Hitler, Stalin, and Mao would all be gods. As I read that back it sounds a little over serious, but it did bother me. The villains are sacrificing one teen girl/year for 25 years and using energy harvested from their souls to bring about the destruction and re-making of the world and immortality for six people. If a human soul had that much power then it's a bit like the earth is populated by 9 billion atomic bombs. it isn't the concept so much as the gross inflation of the value of a single soul.

I like where it's going. This really sets the tone for what we can expect from the rest of the series.
