So I am kind of obsessed with this series.

I read the first one last week and liked it well enough. After reading this one, I found I liked it a little better than the first. The stories were more interesting to me and seemed more well-developed.

This is a fun collection of comics featuring all your favorite Adventure Time Characters. I makes me want to just binge-watch the show for the rest of my life (at least more than I already want to). Funny, silly, epic, and amazing, this collection has got it all.

My favorite comics included [a:Zachary Sterling|7126709|Zachary Sterling|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png]'s "Cake Bakes" because it was absolutely adorable, [a:Shaenon K. a true feat. I also really liked the art style of [a:Kevin Jay Stanton|15759676|Kevin Jay Stanton|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png]'s "Gunter the Hero".

Great collection and I am loving this series so far.

Another butt-kicking installment in the Adventure Time Comics series. This is a great series for Adventure Time fans and there is something in it for everyone. As with the previous books, there is a nice variety in the art styles, writing, and stories.

Some of my favorites in this collection were [a:Rii Abrego|16582137|Rii Abrego|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png]'s "Bad Radishes", [a:Christine Larsen|1222718|Christine Larsen|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png]'s "Third Eye", [a:Jarrett Williams|574261|Jarrett Williams|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png]'s "Princess Rap Battle", and [a:Grace Kraft|16862360|Grace Kraft|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png]'s "Chef BMO".

Fun books with original stories and great artwork. I am really enjoying this series so far.

Always an interesting grab bag of comics, these Adventure Time Comics anthologies allow a multitude of artists to tackle the Adventure Time characters and worlds in their own diverse styles, to differing degrees of success. Some seem to just rehash common themes of the series, while others focus on more it’s strange or unique aspects, or take minor supporting characters in interesting new directions. Of course, it’s always fun to see the familiar seen through a different style. The ones that focus on the more introspective moods of the show are stronger in general than the ones that go for pure comedy, I feel. Generally, though, if you don’t care for a certain comic, it’s okay, since it’s only a couple of pages until something new pops up.
