This is why all collected editions should have a "previously on" at the beginning.
I'm all for a game of "Jean's not here, Jean's here again" but I like to have a bit of info as to why, or at the very least, what I should read before reading this.
And I'm not sure I want to read Poison-X now, so... Too bad.

Okay. Not my favorite, but it was okay. The whole Polaris/Havok storyline taking over the main run would have been more fun if the storyline was, you know, good. (Sorry, not sorry.) I like them as characters, I just was not a fan of this story. Again, I have a real rocky relationship with Cullen Bunn. I don't like a lot of the stuff he writes. And it really shows in stories like this where the characters themselves were the only saving grace in a story I did not actually like. If I had not cared anything about the characters, I wouldn't have read it at all (which is why I avoid him when he's not writing one of my go to titles).

Should have read this before Vemonized.

Artwork was patchy. Great in places, mediocre in others.

Brought the mothervine arc to a satisfactory close (I hope).
