Der vierte Teil hat mir leider, genauso wie Teil 3, nicht so gut gefallen. Ich lese die Reihe natürlich trotzdem zu Ende.
Die Vergangenheits-Timeline war, wie gewohnt, der spannendere Teil des Romans und Kitty ist ein toller und gut ausgearbeiteter Charakter. Man merkt aber, dass Lucinda Riley so ihre Lieblings-Tropes hat, weshalb mich die Liebesgeschichte sehr an die in den vorherigen Teilen erinnert hat. Aber ist okay, ich lese trotzdem gerne immer und immer wieder tragische forbidden love Geschichten

Another addictive part to the series. I wasn't too sure about CeCe from the way she acted with Star in the previous book. Now from reading her own story I love her. She's the most misunderstood of the sisters so far I think and doesn't like people knowing about the battles she faces. I also loved Kitty McBride. It took me a while to figure out the connection between the two of them.

I was worried and equal parts intrigued coming into this book due to the depiction of CeCe in the other books. However I really enjoyed it! Loved the whole of the history section based in Edinburgh and Australia. I also found CeCe very loveable and relatable in it.
