Okay it’s up in the air if I actually liked this book or if I am happy I am out of a reading slump. Did I particularly like Molly and Kirill? Not sure, but it was a fun read.
Graphic: Abandonment, Child abuse, and Emotional abuse

Anti-hero at his finest
Oh, Kirill! Straight away, you can tell Kirill means business. He's been hardened by the life he has been made to lead because of a love he'd do anything to protect, only to lose it anyway.
Kirill and Molly have been looking for each other, and because of certain circumstances, they haven't found each other for 7 years. All that time, Kirill has been shaped and trained to be the ruthless Bratva heir, whilst holding onto a broken heart and revenge for Molly leaving him, thinking she willingly left. Molly has no clue, and when their paths finally cross, it's not the reunion that she hoped. Yes, Kirill is hard. He's possessive, and he's definitely Alpha anti-hero! But Molly is no push over, she gives as good as she gets. I especially loved the dining room scene where she did not give in! They normally do! But I loved that she didn't. She can still see her Kirill behind all the hardness, and she desperately wants him to come back. We finally get to glimpse this at the end, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how they come out the other side!
