Just when things start to look up for grace and her men something else happens. The mole threatens her happiness and her life. So many twists in turns. Grace falls deeper into the life with the men and decides to stay on her own. Just when Hale's father starts to trust her the mole strikes again. That was his biggest mistake he was found out and the betrayal cut steeper than ever.

Huge cliffhanger death violence spice and even the mention of someone who's supposed to be dead.

Trigger warning there is one scene with animal mutilation, a dog specific. It doesn't go into many details but it's enough to make you upset that it happened.

The second book is better than the first. The author hit her stride and it’s improving, especially with the cliffhanger at the end being much more compelling. It’s been surprisingly unpredictable at points, and the steam turns up in this one. Looking forward to diving into the next one.

Suspenseful and steamy!

Ruthless Knights picks up close to where Vicious Kings left off. Grace is no longer looking to escape and, in this installment, we are witness to their changing relationship. We also delve deeper into the mystery and partway through things happen that shift everything. This is intense and suspenseful. At times it feels like we are told pieces, that I wish we could witness on page, but I was still hooked and couldn't wait to finish and get to the final book in the series.

It’s better than the first book

Look it’s better than book one but still not great. This one at least has more story to it. I just can’t help but feel that all there of these books should just have been one. It feels sloppy to separate them like this.

Different, But Not Sure If Good or Bad

Compared to Eva’s other works the writing seems different in this series. I don’t know how to explain it but something feels off. Almost as if the plot was rushed and some of the transitions don’t mesh well. The spicy scenes are still 10/10 but the rest leading up to it isn’t. Still a fan of her and her writing and I will continue the series, it just wasn’t what I expected.

The only reason I read this is because Beatriz made me do it.
