Stable
Although it is a pretty uneven book, there are solid parts and I like the pacing and plot. The change of MC is perhaps the best thing in these latest books, it allows character development of the rest of the squad. And they are frankly more intersting.
However I really detest the alien angle of the plotbuilding, perhaps it was unavoidable, but I still don't like it.
The 4 star are pretty weak and I really, really wish there was half stars to use...
