This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews When I heard there was a 3rd Waverly book I was so excited. I loved Perfect on Paper and It's a Waverly Life. If you haven't read these then I highly recommend them.

Moving to New York is a big change for Waverly. But, this was an opportunity she couldn't miss. Bringing Honey on Your Mind to TV who could turn that down?

It was hard for her to leave Mckenna and Andie but, Paige, Andie's cousin, made a great confidant and friend. Paige is enlisted to help Waverly expand Honey notes into something bigger.

As with the first two books I couldn't stop laughing.

Waverly and Jake are now in the same time zone, which Waverly hopes will bring them closer. However, holding down two demanding jobs, leaves Waverly with little spare time.

Then, throw in Jake's ice cold mum and things become a little more difficult. This was a great easy read which, I highly recommend.

Waverly is adjusting to life with her boyfriend, Jake. Things are going well between them. That is until Waverly gets an opportunity to bring her Honey on your Mind to television audiences. Only there are two catches. The first being that Waverly will have to work with Wendy. There is no lost love between these two ladies. The second thing is that Waverly will have to move to the East Coast. Waverly is about to take on the Big Apple.

I love Waverly Bryson. I have become a fan of her’s since the first book, Perfect on Paper. Her Honey Notes are classic. I wished that I had come up with this idea. A way to get paid for saying what is on my mind in some times a sarcastic way. Waverly is nice, fun, and her corny jokes are great. Jake is the greatest boyfriend to put up with Waverly. Having said all this, I sadly was disappointed by this book. I had a hard time getting into this book in the beginning. In fact, I put this book down and did not pick it back up for about several months. Then I started reading it again and it was not long before I found myself skimming some of it.

I am glad that I do not have to work with someone like Wendy. She is so fake. However, I must admit that the barbs that she would throw Waverly’s way did keep things interesting. Waverly and Jake make such a cute couple. I am glad that Waverly has someone like Jake. What for me lost some of the luster in this book was the carefree attitude that Waverly has. This helps Waverly to be more herself. There was too much drama going on in this book. I hope that the next book reverts more back to the first book.

We meet Waverly again in this book as she is taking a big leap of faith and moving across the country for a job that she doesn't have a ton of details for. The one perk for the job is moving to the same coast as her boyfriend as Jake lives in Atlanta. Will this move help move their relationship forward? Will this be the big break for her career and her clothing line?

I love Maria Murnane's writing. It is easy and has just the right flow. Even though I had taken a break in between reading book 2 and book 3, it was so easy for me to get right back in and enjoy Waverly's story. Waverly is just the right amount of fun and sass with being a fictional character but still someone that you would want as a friend.

Honey on Your Mind was another fun installment to the Waverly Bryson tale. This time around, Waverly is embarking on a new career path in television, actually in a good relationship with Jake, and adjusting to life in a new city away from her support system. As always there are many ups and downs for Waverly, but it's nice to see how she's grown as a character from the previous books. She is definitely coming more into her own and learning from her past mistakes. This is a quality that makes her an interesting character to continue following.

I thought this was a great continuation of the series and as stated previously, it was really nice to read about Waverly coming into her own and realizing her true potential for the first time. If Maria Murnane chooses to continue on with the series I will most definitely keep reading.

I really enjoyed this series. The 3rd book was better than the 2nd, but you definately have to read the others to get the best out of it. I truely hope the author has more to write about Waverly. I want to know what happens with Love, Wendy and with Jake!

I read all four of these in one sitting, and they were all TERRIBLE - these women are people who I would very much dislike in real life (for the love of God, stop going on about being single/not being upfront with the men you're dating... you're 30, not 15). I mean, the protagonist's name is WAVERLY. Stop. But whatever, I'm still counting them.
