Its in His Kiss gives us a little angst, quick wit and enough Lady Danbury to soothe the soul. Hyacinth’s inclusion to the Bridgerton franchise is a fun read, a little slow to get into but once we truly meet Mr. Gareth St. Clair we are ALL asking “Gareth more.” It could just be me but
Spoiler I saw the true identity of Gareth's father from a mile away, it could have been teased a bit better but no matter.
These books are fun to read in a binge-it-all-in-the-bath sort of way. I believe I enjoyed it as much as Hy and Lady Danbury enjoyed their Buttersworth adventures. Highly recommend these books. :)

I feel like the younger Bridgerton siblings get slightly forgotten, but honestly this is nearly my favourite - second only to Colin and Penelope - and Hyacinth is easily my favourite Bridgerton.

I really loved the way they fell in love and the slight mystery of the jewels and the diary. The only thing that nudged it down for me was basically that I wish Gareth hadn’t been
Spoiler such a prolific shagger before getting married - found myself hoping it was all a ruse! And i do wish he’d realised he was in love before he proposed.

This was a bit of a wierd one for me - I found the first couple of chapters very boring and the banter a bit trite. Kept on being told, not shown that there was chemistry between the two and their respective personality. Plus the usual amount of predictable somewhat questionable male behaviour, but that's just Bridgeton for you.

But then, later on I liked how much the personality of Hyacinth and Gareth came through and thought the resolution of the tension between him and his father well done. So bit of a mixed bagged overall.
