No spice to speak of. Disappointing since the plot/dialogue/etc were all pretty mediocre.

After moving to Chicago, Beth becomes friends, just friends, with her clients son Kent. Mr. Playboy, laze around all day, Kent. Beth also meets Brian, a coworker. Brian is everything Beth has been looking for, perfect for her. I loved going on this journey with Beth as she learned that not everything is as it seems, and the value of true friendship. I can't wait to read the next book in this series!

I absolutely adored this book! I loved the friendship between Beth and Kent. This book had friendship, love, some suspense, a little steam, and a really good plot and storyline. I could not put this book down! I love the relationship development between the main characters - it wasn't an insta-love type of thing and was really sweet how they fell in love. I love this so much I will read it again - it was that good! Highly recommend!!!

I really, really loved this book. I'm so glad I stumbled across it. I was a little hesitant because I'm not a huge fan of triangles, but this wasn't your normal triangle. Kent and Bethany were amazing together. I loved that they started as friends. It made watching them fall in love that much more enjoyable. I am really impressed that this is the author's first book. The writing was great. I'm really hoping for another book, maybe about Kendy. I would love more Kent and Bethany. This book was a huge surprise for me and totally broke me out of a book slump.
Can't wait to read more from this author!!

Marry Me For Money

Oh my word, I don't think that one fallen so hard for a book boyfriend as I've done for Kent. It was insane. How protective i became for this character! He was truly just a character that will hit you like a ton of bricks. When everyone starts picking on him for their perceived flaw you will want to wrap him in a blanket and scream leave him alone.
Beth is all of us who wants the whole enchilada. But is someone who you genuinely believes deserves all the goodness.
This was a book that once I started I could not out it down. Enjoy

I had the pleasure of being asked to review this book for our blog, little did I know I would fall in love with this story. For being Mia's debut novel she hit it out of the park!
Bethany is a small town girl with big city dreams, she dreams of a life in finance where her mothers issues can't bring her down. After graduating college she is offered a job as an underwriter for a bank, she has her dream job in Chicago, a great apartment and rule she lives by. Her life can't get any better unless she has someone to share it with.

Kent, is a spoiled rich kid who has always got what he wants, he does who and what he wants when he wants to. He definitely doesn't want to work for the family business. While his father is at a business lunch he meets Bethany and they become friends, the best of friends. All the while he says she's not his type and she let's him in, leaning on him for the support a friend needs when things get tough in her life and he looks out for her, he is her rock in times of need.

"I'm a good girl. I play by the rules. I just want the movie version. Is that too much to ask for? Other girls get the movie version. Don't I deserve romance, dinner and candlelight? Don't I deserve the movies?"

Brian, the hot banker Beth works with is the perfect boyfriend material, except for the fact that they work together. If Beth can give Brian a chance will sparks fly and that fall in love? Brian wants Beth to be his everything, when he sets his mind to it things get done.

When Bethany's past collides with her future will things turn out the way she's planned? When Brian's trust fund is in jeopardy who will help him?

This book had me guessing and not knowing the paths the characters would go on. It didn't feel rushed or pushed, the story fell into place and left me happy, that there was enough drama to make it interesting and enough sex that it was hot. Well done!

I thought this was a great debut novel. I enjoyed Bethany and her friendship with Kent and Brian seemed all most too good to be true. I laughed, teared up, and was on the edge of my seat throughout waiting to see what was going to happen. It was a light-hearted, good read but did have some added suspense and drama mixed in, which I loved.
