It's amazing.  I highly recommend it.  Especially to horror fans, since it is a classic of the genre.  Even better if you haven't seen the film adaptation yet.  Stephen King said that he did not particularly like him, because he strays a lot from his original story.  That does not mean that it is also a work of cinema, and I do recommend it for after reading.

 Continuing with the book...

It can be a bit heavy, as King's style of writing is complicated at first.  But when he gets used to it he positively surprises you.  I like the harmony of the factors and the way in which the events unfold.  And as in the end, you see everything so clearly.

The evolution presented by the characters, especially Jack's, is impressive.  It's one of the things I appreciate most about the book.

It feels like you're actually there with them, the setting is 10/10.

 Stephen King always surprises me.
