It was really good.
The story is complete and sensible, and although I would have preferred a happier ending, I could not help but to feel that that was the best way things could have played out.

He is Kellen Argos, the Path of the Endless Stars, and he is free.

Definitely my favorite book of the series. Amazing.
I didn't realize just how much I missed Ferius until she was suddenly there T_T

A great finish for an adventure book. We got to see Ferius again! I was so relieved by that. She is going tp stay inside me the longest out of all te characters on this series.

Review of the overall series? A wondrous journey.

I’ve never read a six-part series. It’s such an odd number of books to base your series around. But I guess it makes sense given this series is based around somebody known for not being exceptionally good at a great many things. Yes, he’s technically a mage, but he only has one good spell, five enchanted coins, and some knowledge of how magic works for others. And he’s not really a fighter, given that Argosi fighting relies on deception and evasion and tricks. But he’s also not an Argosi sage either, never quite learning all their teachings, lessons, and history.

Yes, Kellen “Path of Endless Stars” is the definition of Jack of All Trades, Master of None.

But, like he says, he’s really good at blowing things up—both literally and figuratively. He’s good at dismantling the institutions intent on preying on the weak, the nations intent on bloodshed over peace, good at point out the hypocrisy of leaders who’ve gotten too big at their britches. This book is basically Kellen’s big Fuck You to the Man and serves as his swan song as he pulls off his last Great Trick.

And, boy, is it the culmination of six books of juking and jiving, barely surviving and barely holding it together. Every friendship, betrayal, conversation, and condemnation leads to the craziest (yet inevitable) conclusion to this crazy kid’s life.

It is glorious and the perfect capper to a pretty good series of books.

guys,, i don’t know what to say. this is my favorite series, all of the books are so amazing. my friend got me this book for my birthday and now it is even more special to me :’)

i don’t think i will be able to give this book a proper review, but this is the type of book that everyone should read. it’s a fantasy book that actually had interesting descriptions and a witty and funny dialogue.

this is a 4.5/5 because the big fight(TM) that we have been waiting for since the first book wasn’t as good as i thought it would be. but the rest of it was absolutely crazy and i love it.

the author gave a satisfying ending and i may have cried a little bit when reading the author’s note.

i think i’m going to start reading the first book again because i already miss the atmosphere and characters :) i just want to thank the author for this incredible journey!

I first read Spellslinger about 5 years ago, today I finished Crownbreaker. It's a bittersweet feeling finishing a series that you grew up with, that you read at different moments throughout your life and yet here we are with an ending that I will forever remember and a Post script that made me cry like a baby
