content warning: self-harm, mentions of suicide
loved this so much!! the only reason i'm not giving it 5 stars is cause the ending was way too predictable lol

Actually better than I remember it being so that’s a pleasant surprise! The last book I re-read from my childhood (Marked by P.C Cast) did not end up being a good experience, I’m really glad that this book is still enjoyable! It’s always a risk when you decide to read a book after having not read it in so long (8 whole years!)...this one is worth the re-read!

Main character was a bit of a dick. I didn't really think much of the main storyline - hardly anything really happened. Fairly readable, at least.

If I was still in high school/a teenager I might have enjoyed the book more, and the many grammatical and spelling errors in this edition kept taking me out of the story. Teen aged me would have given this 4 stars, but been annoyed with all the errors. Grown up me had trouble relating to the characters so I would have given it 3 stars, but the errors brought it down to 2 stars.

Vampire Academy is a thrilling book that you won't be able to put down. Trust me I read it in 2 days. Lol. It's terrific and you'll love it right from the 1st chapter. If you don't :(

”The greatest and most powerful revolutions often start very quietly, hidden in the shadows. Remember that.”
