It wasn't my favorite in the series but that doesn't mean it's bad. I didn't engage with these characters as much and it seemed like the realm jumping was a bit drawn out. I felt like it started to get too tedious.

I was excited for this book because it's been built up since Rydstrom and Sabine's book, which was book 9? But after a while, I forgot about them because we got so many other wonderful stories. Then, I didn't really feel that excitement anymore when I picked up this book.
But, this book did have me.
I loved how Lanthe was her own person and didn't apologize for who she was. I also loved Thronos. He was a strong and enduring character who's been though so much at the hands of his mate.
I hated though, how he tried to tear her down because of her past, any chance he got...until he didn't
While I feel like the characters and their budding love story was amazing, I felt that the ending was beyond rushed. I loved the idea of what happened but I felt like it should have played out differently. I was left unfulfilled, I think. I wanted more from and for them because they deserved it.

Okay I finally read this sloowwwllyy and Thronos is a complete ass face for the first 40%. Yes yes I know it sucked severely on both sides but still the slut shaming comments are a bit much. And STILL they are probably my favorite pairing in the IAD series. Damn you Kresley Cole

Okay I finally read this sloowwwllyy and Thronos is a complete ass face for the first 40%. Yes yes I know it sucked severely on both sides but still the slut shaming comments are a bit much. And STILL they are probably my favorite pairing in the IAD series. Damn you Kresley Cole

I just loved this book, it was such a good romance that the couple were able to grow together and just a lot of "Nothing can stand in our way"

Moram priznati da sam ostala razočarana ovom knjigom. najlošija mi je do sada u seriji. Nema ni blizu one napetosti iz ranijih knjiga. do sada niti jednu nisam mogla ispustiti iz ruku i čitala sam ih u jednom dahu, dok sam se s ovom knjigom više puta uhvatila da "lutam". Šteta!
