This is part of the Charlie Davidson series but you can read this novella as a stand-alone. I do live these 1001 Dark Nights novellas because it is a fantastic way to read short books by new to you authors. I have found a few great series this way.
Anyway, I have read some of the books in the Charlie Davidson series and I loved what I have read so I was excited to read and review this novella. I have to say that I LOVE this novella. The story is well done and doesn't feel rushed at all. Now I want to start binge-reading the entire series.
I am giving this 5 out of 5 stars.

Plugging more holes from [b:Summoned to Thirteenth Grave|35391370|Summoned to Thirteenth Grave (Charley Davidson, #13)|Darynda Jones|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1527094945l/35391370._SY75_.jpg|56756537]. Now it's time for Donovan, the handsome biker, and his HEA.
Very short and does not add anything to the whole story, but if you're a Charley Davidson fan, we know you will have to read it. ;)

I have only one problem with this book. Ok maybe more but still….. it was too short. Like a big tease giving just a taste. All the favorite characters from the series ok most of them. And then it’s over. I want to say more but I don’t want to give away anything. Because that ending……

The Characters:
Donavan St James:
Dr Lucia “Sia” Mirabal:
Charley, Reyes, Beep, Garette, Marika
The Story:
Very little of this actually took place in the bar. The road trip was very interesting though. Demons, visions, hot lovin’, what more could you ask for?

3 stars - I liked it
This was another fun installment in the Charley Davidson universe. Donovan St. James has been a part of this series for a long time so it was nice to see him finally find his person. Dr. Lucia Mirabel, aka Sia, was a very interesting heroine. She isn’t exactly human and a soul eater is after her now, hence her trying to run. I enjoyed Donovan and Sia’s story. These two have had the hots for each other for a while and this situation finally pushes them together. Like I said, I did enjoy this but I felt that the destruction of the soul eater was a bit anticlimactic. I also was expecting an epilogue or something like that after they won, but instead it just ended. So overall, I did enjoy this story but the ending was a bit rushed and abrupt.
